WE MET OUR GOAL
October 18, 2014 ~ MayLing is a stray dog that was hit by a car today. She is being transported to us tomorrow. Her leg was shredded, she is missing a lot of skin and some of the bones are shattered. We are not sure yet if her leg can even be saved. We will know more on Monday morning. Please help us raise money for MayLing.

Can you help us raise money for her surgery?
If you would like to send us a check, please make it payable to Florida Yorkie Rescue, Inc.
and mail it to

October 20, 2014 ~ MayLing had sucessful orthpedic surgery today. Her leg was saved. The Vet told us that she had dislocated her ankle and that she had a blunt injury to her ankle as well. She did not think this was caused from a car accident. What else could have caused this injury? Was it intentionally done? I guess we will never know. She comes home tomorrow, October 21, 2014. Recovery time will be approximately 4 weeks. We also have to rule out pregnancy.
